This has sent me down a rabbit hole of holiday photos from that long ago trip.We hired a barge in Upper Lough Erne, near the border with Ireland, and spent a happy St. Patrick’s Week pootling along the Upper and Lower Loughs.The weather before our week had been grim, so any river leading South was too flooded for the barge to get under the bridges. A lot of the Northern mooring points were awkwardly flooded, and the weather was generally Baltic.Still one of my favourite holidays though.
