@bjoernUbuntu aufm MacBook ist afaik nicht offiziell supported. Dass da mal was kaputt geht ist wahrscheinlicher als bei Ubuntu auf nem Standard PC.Klar geht Ubuntu auch auf nem Standard PC kaputt. Genau wie Windows oder sogar MacOS.Kaputte System sind eine statistische Notwendigkeit.Die Ableitung, dass sich Linux deshalb nicht für 0815 Anwender*innen eignet, ist imo nicht der richtige Schluss.Meinem Vater hab ich vor Jahren ne Ubuntu Dell Kiste hingestellt und der hat sich seitdem nicht mehr gemeldet. Ich gucke einmal im Jahr dass Updates installiert sind, aber ansonsten läuft die Kiste einfach.@blog

@pocket Ich bin schon lange mit Linux Mint Cinnamon unterwegs. Bisher ohne größere Probleme. Allerdings sind meine Rechner auch schon älter.

@gtronix I recently switched to Arch Linux, which is a fantastic choice. Due to developing a mobile app, I often have to work on a Mac because Apple doesn't allow deployment from third-party devices. After that, I return to Linux.
