One thing I haven't seen anyone else list: In case of needing to evacuate, I have a list of what to put in my car — and I've tested it to make sure it all fits.And that list includes which specific memorabilia/irreplaceable items I'll pack, assuming I have enough time. I know I won't be thinking clearly about this if I need to evacuate, so it's much better to have thought about it ahead of time.For many folks that might be photos, but I have the photos I most care about scanned — so I have different things on my list, all very personal choices.
