@ChrisMayLA6 @NWBylines I imagine the global pressure on sanctions is contributing to this. If we want to avoid some environmental disasters, and ensure the sailors’ welfare, a tiny surcharge on the reinsurance market should provide the funding to do so. Although that will probably increase abandonments, that shouldn’t be an argument against doing the right thing.
