@JessMahler I presume that "noncon" means non-consensual, i.e.rape. While I fully support anyone's right to write or read what they wish, I personally have a very hard time even witnessing the heavily sanitized sexual assault scenes on network TV. I simply would not be comfortable actively advocating for anything that glorifies rape. I'm sorry.

Divesting en-masse from billionnaire-owned platforms would help us all *a lot*, but there's no easy answers for that right now when so many rely on one or all of them to survive.I'd also like to see better options for unionisation. What exists often only exists for those earning at a certain threshhold or having attained a certain level of mainstream prestige, but early-career and smaller authors still matter. Not to mention the bias and bad faith politics within many such organisations.

@JallBarret Yes! Please give your chapters names! When I want to re-read a favorite part of a favorite book, how can I easily find it, if all the chapters only have numbers? I've got my own made-up chapter titles scrawled into the pages of dozens of well-loved paperbacks on my bookshelf. I appreciate it when the author saves me that chore.
