It's a long, sad story, of a non-profit, excellent hospital being sold in a shady deal to a venture-capital group that is happy to make as much money here as they can, while understaffing and losing both doctors and nurses in double- or triple-digits.
People have died who never should have, and on and on and on.
It's not the nurses. It's not the docs. It's the f*ing hospital and their staffing levels. The stories are horrific.
Everyone is afraid to go there, and they are our only trauma center. The previous reputation is why a lot of us moved her in advance of retirement.

@czarbucks I've seen the prior reporting, so this recent development is not a surprise. But how scary this must be for you, if it's a hospital you might need in the future.
Could all the problems possibly lead to a change in ownership?
