It’s seeming like Janet is doing well after we turned her off and on again. After a very traumatic year she was peeing on everything. We got the cat situation in the house stabilized and put her on some kitty prozac for a few months. Over Christmas we weaned her off and she’s back to her own, still slightly neurotic, self.

I wish our past vet knew of kitty prozac! Had a kitty re-homed with us after a traumatic life and would vomit constantly due to stress (like seeing the bottom of her food dish; past life included other animals/people bullying her and denying food) and also from licking anything plastic. She would have benefited from that possibly. -

She would have benefited from that possibly.@RyeNCode Quite possibly. And it literally is flouxetine (prozac). We started with oral but the issue there is giving it everyday by mouth was adding more stress. Turns out there’s a topical version that you apply in the ears that worked really well.
