He has throughout always said our thoughts and sympathies MUST reside with the victims of #Epstein
BUT
He knew #Mandelson was STILL engaged with friendly relations with him when he appointed him to be the ambassador.
Therefore, what he said about sympathy, he did not mean, and so he essentially has NO MORAL COMPASS..... he can't survive this

He said that we should put the victims' concern as a matter of primacy
Then, with full knowledge as to #Mandelson's friendship when he was appointed as ambassador, he completely ignored those concerns of the victims.
And those concerns are for one of the most bestial maters man can ever commit
