Note on the Chrono App for OPUS card in Montréal:
The OPUS card has a limit of 4 fare types that can be loaded on it. (physical limit on card).
If you already have 4 types of tickets loaded (including expired ones), Chrono is unable to delete an expired one to make room to load a new type.
For instance: if you have:
- Single tickets A zone
- old STM tickets
- 3 day pass (expired)
- 24 hour pass (expired)It won't let you load a weekend pass because all 4 slots are occupied and it would need to delete one of the expired ones to make room for the weekend pass, and it doesn't have the logic to do it.
But if you go to a fare vending machine, it will zap an expired fare to make room for the weekend pass without complaints. After that, with a weekend pass occupying a slot, once it is expired, Chrono will let you buy it again since it doesn't have to delete a fare, just needs to reload an existing slot.
