It seems to be the city-managed spaces that are the worst. The Whyte Avenue businesses were all clear and often gritted, but I went down just before the Farmers Market. -

The Whyte Avenue businesses were all clear and often gritted, but I went down just before the Farmers Market.@EllenInEdmonton I went for brunch on Whyte ave. and the sidewalks were all fine on the avenue itself. The side streets and the high level bridge had some icy patches.
Hopefully this warm weather and sunshine deals with it

I hope so. I'm always cautious on our winter sidewalks after shattering my wrist on Emily Murphy Hill 12 years ago. -

@integral_toast Yikes! The riverside trails are exceedingly treacherous during the winter.
