A warning for Adobe #InDesign users. I recently updated my copy, and after preparing a document, the recipient of that document sent me the alt text that popped up on one of their figures. Apparently, by default, InDesign uses AI to generate (often hilariously wrong) alt text for images.

@pinakographos This is just an unintended consequence of so many people using the eggplant emoji
to get around content filters. They're just confusing the naïve AI training algorithms

@pinakographos I can't work out if the training set had too many "unsolicited personal images" so that the AI is obsessed, or if it had too few, so that it's clueless.
