I'm hopeful one of us that have offered can pick the site up before the data is deleted by the host so folks don't loose post history and follower / following relationships."
A #MedMastodon reply to me - I am not in contact with the former admin myself. He cancelled because of costs.

And of course, if this works out, people can then still migrate their old MedMastodon account to their new one, if they so wish, without losing any followers/follows that they've built up since.
Obviously the post history stays on the old account.

@ratcatcher yes that's all I want it for, I know posts are non-transferable. Just be good to get follows/followers back.

I only mentioned it because some people don't realise that you can migrate an account to another even if you've been using that new account for some time.
Some folks fear the migration will overwrite followers/follows lists on the newer account which of course it doesn't, it just merges/adds.
That might help some of your fellow #MedMastodon people.
