i'm really just... totally done with work. everyone is carrying loads of technical debt on their backs just to keep things running, and the only thing executive leadership is doing is making manic demands and changing direction every few weeks because a cult is telling them they need to create a God in the Machine or die trying.

i'm really just... totally done with work. everyone is carrying loads of technical debt on their backs just to keep things running, and the only thing executive leadership is doing is making manic demands and changing direction every few weeks because a cult is telling them they need to create a God in the Machine or die trying.
the trash keeps piling up and rotting, promising younger colleagues end up leaving for greener pastures, and i'm stuck here pulling levers to help maintain the illusion that this bloated corpse of a company is still worth a damn.
