GPT-Zero thinks it's a mix of human and AI, and I agree, but Ladyada's inability to understand the difference between "we don't want you using the plagiarism machine" and "dishwashers are making howewives lazy" is enough for me to never buy anything her company makes again even if she had written every word of that article to prove a point

@byte @aks Ladyada wanted to make a new Qwiic (sorry, Adafruit calls the same connector with the same pinout "Stemma QT" just to be confusing) breakout board for some new part, so she fed the part's datasheet into Google Gemini and it spit back a valid board file. She then bragged about this on Fedi (https://fosstodon.org/@adafruit/116071513892549636) and was shocked when she got pushback.

She then wrote the linked blog post comparing fedizens complaining about her AI use to misogynists in the 50s complaining about their wives "cheating" by using cake mix.

(A bunch of people apparently use them for subservient secretary/girlfriend/whatever experience. I've only ever seen them used for spamming (code slop is also spamming) so I didn't know that was actually a thing until fedi mentioned it.)
