@lipow one of my favourite excuses for never masking: "I don't have to be careful because I don't know any old people"
@anna "and you never will, you never will, and that includes your own future self ..."
It is really so sad to see how risk and health communication has failed at this ... -
Also, last week after dance class;
Person: am I correct in assuming that you mask to protect others?
Me: I’m masking to protect myself.
Them: given that it’s more effective if you mask to protect others than if you mask to protect yourself, isn’t that kinda pointless?
Me: given that all of you are constantly panting in each other’s faces anyway, wouldn’t masking to protect you all be even more pointless?@anna logic is clearly an optional extra some chose not to ask for.

@shom oh yes I’m getting a lot of milage out of that skirt. It’s compact enough that it is easy to transport to wherever I’m going dancing, and it pairs well with my favourite dancing Tees. Under it, I wear safety short with pockets for my phone and ID, so it’s very convenient for public events like the one I went to on Saturday.
@anna dancing tees and safety shorts, you live a whimsical and full life!
