@Saorsa @via @blackbeard Yes i am still doing a few reboots ironing some kinks out should not be long nowMisskey does allow you to write plugins for the platform, shouldn't be too difficult to create a button which when pressed can expand a window with the chat inside. Bit like what folks on Plemora have.

Tried joining, but the connect button greyed out and the process hung after pressing it.

So no real IP's should leak through -

We'll probably have to leave it to you to write a plugin or play that'll have the IRC chat pop up as an intractable widget on the interface somewhere in Misskey.

didn't realize znc doesn't support socks out of the box, so I have to use proxychains, but I don't want to torify all of my connections, so I will have to decide how I want to do this.
also sasl isn't working on znc either for some reason what a pain -
