This horrid mass killing is almost inconceivable, and my heart goes out to the friends, families, parents of the victims.

I urge my trans friends to avoid any news sources on this right now, as the images are heartbreaking, and the coverage is already misgendering and centering the shooter's transition.

As I said to a friend this morning when news was breaking: "This world just sucks! They create a society to alienate us and make us miserable and then act shocked when just one of us lashes out with irrational violence."
