@alipunk I'm nowhere near a position where I could be involved in hiring, but the University of Calgary's School of Architecture, Planning & Landscape (SAPL) is often looking for people with that skillset to help design students in studio classes. Depending on how much experience you have I'd consider seeing if there's anything for you, they sometimes have (paid & recurring) remote or hybrid guest lecturers & speakers esp. with both technical & problem solving skills, they love that

@alipunk Unfortunately I don't work there, just a student (if I dox myself on Mastodon, it may as well be to help someone out). But the contact information for the faculty is available online and they're growing incredibly quickly, and I think your skillset would be very much appreciated there. They've picked up a lot of talent recently but not as much in interior design that I'm aware of, despite its importance. Might be worth an email inquiry
