Update. I'm not counting #PamBondi, because she didn't kill a dog, she merely tried to prevent the return of a dog to its 4-year-old owner. The boy had lost his home in Hurricane Katrina. But his dog survived and was sent to a shelter, where Bondi adopted it. The boy had previously lost his parents in a murder-suicide. When he and his grandparents tried to reclaim the dog, Bondi hired a lawyer to stop them.
