    (This is re *two separate accounts* making a joke about mansplaining mansplaining to me on a post where I had already been mansplained about how to handle mansplaining.)

        @emilymbender

        From this I take it you have already had everything properly mansplained to you and I have no role here?

        ETA: Yes, this joke is somewhat tonedeaf. But like any self-deprecating comic I couldn't resist it.

          @christophmaier please don't use this word.
          It's a nonsense.

          Mansplaining is the phenomenon of men *who assume their target audience knows less than them regardless of available evidence* explaining shit when they weren't asked to, to people who do often know more than them about that thing.

          There is no counterexample. Because men's knowledge is not routinely underestimated, because this is a misogynistic society problem and systemic misandry is not a thing.

          It completely misunderstands/ignores what 'mansplaining' is as a problem.

              @noodlemaz
              Out of your ideological zeal,
              you completely deny and cancel my experience growing up in the gaslight of a toxic narcissitic mother
              who used social manipulation with the help of a social clique of like-minded manipulative narcissistic mothers to create a socially constructed reality in which subtle, passive-aggressive misandry was (in fact, still is) very much a thing and my very existence was an aberration.

              You're trying to lecture me about stuff
              you don't know shit about,
              and
              you don't want to know shit about¹²⁷,
              because the knowledge goes against your Socially Constructed Reality.

              Hence, you ARE the counterexample.

              You can do better
              (they don't hand out PhDs in actual science, like
              Medicine and Physiology,
              like candy for reciting ideological slogans),
              but you CHOOSE not to.

                  @sillyCoelophysis @christophmaier abusive mothers don't mean misandry exists.

                  I'm leaving both this and the conversation. Instead of addressing my point you just trauma dumped to try to claim authority. Nope.
                  Wish you well but nope.
