I believe the censorship campaign is about preventing teens from learning about things that led the to protest against the government, like global warming, the existence of LGBT people, and the treatment of Palestinians

@alienghic @thomasfuchs Or about their bodies, gay and trans folk...things they can't ask their parent about for whatever reason. They want to cut off gay and trans kids. If they cared about the kids, they would make sure schools taught media literacy from early ages up through graduating high school, but tech bros and data miners would not like an informed public.

@thomasfuchs It's not performative, and censoring what kids can see is only part of it. The long-term goal is have all activities on the net tied to you as a person, ideally in a legally-enforceable way.
