@KaitlynEthylia @dianea I mean, how many devices actually use 9V batteries anymore? Even most smoke detectors have moved to Lithium Ion batteries.
@JessTheUnstill @dianea I actually didn't know that smoke alarms don't anymore. but I guess yeah I haven't seen them as a while. But idk I don't quite think they're so rare that an entire generation have forgotten about them (I say as a member of gen z on the younger side). though I guess I forget being involved with tech, and just being interested in that sort of stuff, I tend to know more old fashioned tech and such than most people my age -
