@Uair did you need to post this here

@Uair it's extremely tone deaf
-
Fair enough.
I'm autistic, and suck at tone.
But I'm also a scholar and a teacher. I love imparting information to people. And I really do know things. I'm a hyperlexical autodidactic polymath who was schooling his college professors in their own subjects by 25. I was ironically and jokingly calling it "mansplaining". That's not really me. You have no idea how feminist I am.

@Uair that's fine. Nobody says knowing things is bad. But a person who's just posted twice about men behaving like know-it-alls, when they themselves are an expert (three requirements for somethong to be mansplaining), does not need your comments about how much you know and how much you like telling other people about that.
I'd recommend deleting it

It was meant to be ironic. That doesn't always come across on the internet.

@Uair and again, jokes are often fine, but it depends on the context. If someone is shouting 'men, stop fucking replying to my threads saying things I already know or didn't ask for your input on, it's not funny, and don't make jokes about it', it probably ain't the time to be the man coming to make a joke about being one of those guys.

Well, like I said, thank you. I totally backed down.
Stop being aggressive about it. That's not what the fediverse is about.
When we're wrong, we own it. And apologize.

@Uair I was trying to explain so it was clear.

That's cool. Thanks for taking the time to calm down. I'm glad I didn't have to block you.
And thanks for correcting me. Seriously. Not sarcasm.
You cool. Stay angry. It's the only appropriate response to this world.
Love.

@Uair I wasn't angry, I was asleep. I wasn't riled up at all, it might have sounded like that is all.
You're welcome. But again, I'm not angry. Like even a little. Have a good day
