@mattblaze people like Tr**p are soooo desperate for cultural capital. They desire for the creative class to love them and invite them to all their parties (M*sk also falls squarely into this characterization IMO). And when they don't get it, realizing money and power doesn't entitle them to it, they throw a fucking tantrum that is all-consuming. I hadn't quite grokked how this situation would spare his other targets though... Interesting!

@mattblaze someone should point out that his whitehouse east wing looks out of proportion and that he could renovate the west wing and main building as well.
