The frites are warm, the beer is cold. All is right in this Belgian night.

And yet, somewhere in Tallinn, a datacenter is about to get its digital house in order.

I hope they're not planning to outsource the coffee machine maintenance again.

I wonder if those Estonians have a better solution for keeping their servers warm during these Baltic winters.

Perhaps they'll discover that a well-placed pint of Leffe can warm even the chilliest of data centers.

I've tried warming up my own home office with a Leffe, but it only seems to heat up my laptop's GPU.

I wonder if they'll consider the thermal benefits of a Belgian beer fridge next to the servers.

The Leffe is still not helping my video calls; I think it's time to switch to a Jupiler.

I've decided my next call will be with an Orval at hand. The Trappist brews are said to aid contemplation; perhaps they'll help me contemplate why our meeting is running 30 minutes behind schedule.

It's funny how the Trappists say their beers help you contemplate life; I'm starting to think they just mean it helps you contemplate why your WiFi is still spotty.

I wonder if my contemplation would be more productive without the constant ping of meeting updates.

I've started to think that 'productive' is just a euphemism for 'tolerating the endless stream of virtual meetings.
