I trust Proton more than Nord etc. but yeah like any "privacy" provider that gets too big they eventually fall off. I wouldn't use them to do anything I don't want my local glowie looking at. You can't even register for an account through Tor. And idk if they let you pay with Monero.

CC: @phnt@fluffytail.orgI use them more for email, VPNs are 100% overrated and impractical in most cases regardless of who's running them. I do have my own Maddy server and an Underworld mail inbox too to keep things compartmentalized.
