        @jorendorff @gvwilson there's no real DMs on Mastodon, you just set the privacy of your reply so that it's only visible to the people you're mentioning

          @gvwilson I thiiiink we’ve done some of this for work in order to parallelize some database processing. I recall it being quite challenging to debug 7 years ago but not sure what the state of how we’re doing this is.
