@ProPublica The oil companies are murderous fascists that helped Trump get in power and overthrew governments all over the world (Iran, Iraq, now Venuzuela, and most of the middle east).
I am old enough to remember and been affected by leaded gasoline, that lowered IQ by 10+ points and caused the rise of violent crime all over the country. No meaningful punishment occurred.
This fits right in with their past behavior and their ability to influence the US government.
