    By another measure – visits to the doctor for fever plus a cough or sore throat, which are common flu symptoms – the US is at its highest level of respiratory illness since at least the 1997-98 flu season..."

      @bicmay It's almost like this would be a good time to encourage vaccination rather than cast doubt upon it. Could someone tell the 🤡 running U.S. health policy?

        @bicmay I'm beginning to read effed up doomsayers' essays too, about the combo of H5N1 and flu maybe becoming the 2026 pandemic. Masking up indeed!

            @bicmay

            I remember getting the flu that year; I was unconscious for 2 or 3 days, only woke up to use the bathroom once or twice

            0/10 do not recommend taking any risks with this special subclade K
