    US weather prediction supercomputer reportedly being transferred to an unknown "third party", per NY Times. This is not a "climate change" supercomputer, it's one of the supercomputers used to run the US weather prediction models. 😬

        @jeridansky @ai6yr

        Link around paywall:

        "A Climate Supercomputer Is Getting New Bosses. It’s Not Clear Who.

        The National Science Foundation said management of the machine, used by researchers for forecasts, disaster warnings and pure science, would be transferred to a 'third-party operator.'"
