In the 70s there was a detective show on TV "The Streets of San Francisco", starring, Karl Malden and a young Michael Douglas. Jazzy intro theme.
In one scene, it was morning and they were in a diner. Malden orders chili. Douglas asks, "Chili for breakfast?" Malden responds, "Try it!"
Ever since, I have often eaten chili for breakfast, just like this morning. Especially good in winter.
