🤦🏼♂️ I've been trying to work out why my Tailscale here (CGNAT, v6 Native) was refusing to use my peer relay in Auckland (vm, v6 native) over IPv6 to connect to my QNAP at another location.

️ I've been trying to work out why my Tailscale here (CGNAT, v6 Native) was refusing to use my peer relay in Auckland (vm, v6 native) over IPv6 to connect to my QNAP at another location. Both are with Voyager. It's been two hours, messing with settings doing random ENV VARs to artifically add 300ms to IPv4 latency etc. and still the darn thing says "114.xxx.xxx.xxx Direct"
Oh. Wait. Fuck.
It's been connected direct over IPv4 since about two hours ago. It's never connected directly to their place before. It's never going to prefer a peer relay

️The fact that both IP's are in the 114.whatever subnet meant I never noticed that the last part != my Auckland server fffffff
