    5 February 1894 | A Czech Jewish woman, Irma Abelesová, was born in Řehlovice.

    She was deported to #Auschwitz from the #Theresienstadt ghetto on 23 October 1944. After selection she was murdered in a gas chamber.

      @auschwitzmuseum
      My dad was stationed at the airbase near Munich. I lived there ages 4 to 6. In December of 1948 me and my mom and infant brother arrived. There was no housing available so we spent several months living in the Naxi Officer Barracks at Dachau. That and being in the gas chamber on a tour haunt me still.
