We are very well aware of the fact that X for Grok is now offering a spicy mode showing explicit sexual content with some output generated with childlike images:
A detailed request for information on Grok has been sent to X, and we are reviewing the company’s responses.
X has been ordered to retain all internal documents and data concerning Grok’s features until the end of 2026. The Digital Services Act is very clear:
In the EU, all platforms have to get their own house in order.
@EUCommission Leave the platform. You're otherwise complicit and helping sustain and legitimatize X.
This is intolerable.
For shame, have some.

"now offering a spicy mode"
"a spicy mode"
Is that what you're calling non-consensual adult and child pornography now?
"spicy"
Wow
Don't be too harsh now
Wouldn't want to hurt the feelings of any porn enjoyers, would you now?
@FinchHaven
That is what it is called by Grok-Imagine. If the spokesperson changes the name how is anybody supposed to know what he's referring to. Sure the quote could have been made clearer in the text but it is more obvious if the video clip is viewed rather than jumping to incorrect conclusions.

@EUCommission Maybe jump off that Nazi racist platform and actively promote the fediverse could be a good sign.

@EUCommission
block their IPs while you're at it. Nothing of value there. -

@EUCommission
The EC itself as well its commissioners remain on X. The same holds true for plenty of other institutions, bodies, and agencies of the European Union.Posting here about 'spicy mode' displays extremely poor judgement.
Please read the room. People are livid, and even for the most ardent believers in the EU project, the lack of a moral backbone on display is extremely hard to swallow.
-
Given what it creates, please set "spicy mode" in quotation marks, instead of adopting the marketing terminology of X. Unless, of course, you believe that synthetic #CSAM is just another type of "spicy content".
As of now, your account @EU_commission on X (which should no longer exist) did not post this text.
@katzenberger @EUCommission child porn. it was child porn. jesus christ. really hard to call a spade a spade.

@katzenberger @EUCommission child porn. it was child porn. jesus christ. really hard to call a spade a spade.
so yeah, @EUCommission . you have an account on a platform that distributed child porn.
de rien...
-
@EUCommission They're Nazis. Why is this difficult?
@Gustodon @EUCommission I'm gonna guess money and or racism.
-
Why does the EU Commission continue to have an account on a social media site that openly allows its paid users to generate AI child pornography?
now, @EUCommission, why?

@EUCommissionSo now we're quoting Grok from X directly and calling that a good thing?
I'm sure Musk appreciates the advertising
And I'm sure it's general knowledge that "spicy mode" is a direct Grok reference
You spend a lot of time on Twitter, do you?
OK then

@EUCommission All politicians that still think they have some decency left MUST leave the right-wing shithole immediately.
-
@hembrow@todon.eu @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu the EU (as well as other institutions from EU countries) should abandon, as much and as quickly as feasible, all non EU platforms and suppliers.
@bovaz @hembrow @EUCommission When you do this, could you also keep the billionares that destroyed us and sucked our money dry from just transferring all their funds to Europe before our economy crashes?
They're not going to do you any favors anyway. I'd really like it if they died with us instead of just making out and moving over there to be happy.

@katzenberger thanks, for that, i am not a native speaker. so the @EUCommission has an account on a platform that distributed child sexual abuse material. that sounds even more gross. cheers.

@EUCommission Since Musk restricted this feature to paying customers instead of removing it, it is apparent that X is now a platform for producing and distributing child pornography and should be treated as such.
-
@AlexanderVI @NatureMC @EUCommission Now I'm almost curious enough to have a look at it to see how accurate because this is a very interesting question. The answer is: it can't. It should end up looking too adult like.
That could be part of the thing. We have a President who traded in the real thing. Tossing out some simulations that are adult looking on "accident" would be a very evil, shrewd piece of propaganda these people are fully capable of.

@FinchHaven
1. No
2. I doubt he's even aware of any claimed advertising.
3. No, I had to research it to be certain before I replied.
4. I had an account before Musk. It was crap even then. It was only ever used to contact companies who would only respond if shamed on a public platform. I got rid of it years ago.
