      @Natasha_Jay much more common in Swedish is book moth (bokmal). It's also more fun since it's a pun. Mala is the verb for grind, so you are grinding books 🙂

        @ainali @Natasha_Jay judging from NAOB,¹ Norwegian has
        • bokmøll (book moth), which they say is infrequent and define as
        • bokorm (bookworm), which also points to
        • lesehest (reading-horse).
