      @MayhamMonday heh, and in my annotated reread of Lord of the Rings I just encountered a spot where Treebeard uses "ain't" as a bit of pun because in an English accent it sounds a bit like "ent":

      "There are Ents and Ents, you know; or there are Ents and things that look like Ents but ain't, as you might say."
