What is your point then?

Failing to take into context the wider environment of racist police violence in the US is not helping anyone.
Highlighting it shouldn't put anyone off anything, and if it does, whatever small action they might have taken wouldn't make a real difference anyway.

If people are only motivated to act when whiteness is under threat (and in her case the justifiers are making it a question of gender and sexuality more than race anyway, because they'll always find an excuse) then their resistance cannot be meaningful.
