Translation error after updating the forum to version 4.9.1
-
@משה that might have been an accident 🫤
Hopefully you are able to recover the old translation?
-
@julian
I would love to hear about the process.
After I have translated a few sentences, what happens now?
Do I need to send it for approval? -
Hey @julian
Just curious
You deleted this translation yourself, according to this listing:
-
@משה it might've been an action I did when I pushed some translations up, but they were not done correctly. I think then, the easiest way to restore was to remove all the translations.
I wasn't sure how many were done, but it looks like the Arabic translation was done already. Oops

We have a bot that will pull translations in once a day, and they'll be on track for the next minor version.

I follow a lot of translations, you deleted them all

Hi @julian @baris
I translated, with God's help, all the new strings! and the old ones that were deleted.
Waiting for them to be approved and passed on.
Recommendation!
Quickly update the version, because the previous deletion affected thousands of users, The deletions were also made in the user interface and not just in the admin console. -

public/language/hethen rebuild nodebb, that should fix the translations for you. -

Or will I have to manually update again?@משה the translations will be included in 4.10.0, when it is released.
If you upgrade to a patch version (e.g. 4.9.2), your translations should remain.
