      I also got this HORNY picture of the Griffith Observatory, but Mercury was already below the horizon by then.

        @heluecht it can be more sideways here too, the moon wobbles all over the place really. You could catch it flat like this from Germany, which is actually at the same latitude as California, just depends on what the moon is up to that evening.
