OK, back to grumbling for just a bit. My local newspaper (which I subscribe to) is testing out an “innovative AI-based partner” for covering local government meetings they currently don’t have the money to cover with real reporters: water and sewer boards, school boards, fire boards, etc. (They send actual reporters to city council meetings.) Noble goal, but still.
Yes, I wrote to them about it.
