              @irfan @stephanie Just speculating, but I think the US would not run with the Venezuelan leadership decapitation approach with Canada.

              They'd likely do something closer to what Russian did in Ukraine, annexing just the bits they want (Alberta), while citing broad regional support for the action (Smith).

                @irfan @stephanie Just speculating, but I think the US would not run with the Venezuelan leadership decapitation approach with Canada.

                They'd likely do something closer to what Russian did in Ukraine, annexing just the bits they want (Alberta), while citing broad regional support for the action (Smith).

                  @stephanie @irfan In my head there'd be military. Oh my yes, all over Alberta. But it would be painted as liberation. Again, just speculation on my part.
