• one REALLY important cable@adhdjesse i noticed I have two modes:
"I am definitely forgetting something" = I have forgotten nothing but this will occupy my mind for the entirety of the trip there.
"I have quadruple checked everything, there is no chance I have forgotten anything" = I have forgotten something essential and will not realise until I need it.

Oh God, THE CABLE.
Searching a small town in the Mt. Fuji area for a f**king bespoke phone charging cable before most EU and UK phones were USB-C
I still have the (mental) scars!

What I didn't know or even fathom to expect was that the PS5 I brought camping actually couldn't be connected to bluetooth headphones and so since I brought my monitor instead of my TV I was totally fucked since I had literally decided NOT to bring the silly audio cable my headphones come with because why would I possibly need that?

• one REALLY important cable@adhdjesse Smart phones, packing cubes, and detailed lists save me when it comes to traveling. I still lose glasses and sweaters in the process, but my phone, passport, and credit cards stay with me.
