Odd question, but.... in making a cup of coffee in a mug, then stirring it with the spoon, do you always - like me - tap the rim of the cup twice afterwards?

Odd question, but.... in making a cup of coffee in a mug, then stirring it with the spoon, do you always - like me - tap the rim of the cup twice afterwards?
It's a sort of unconscious ritual, I suppose, to tap off any drips. Pour, stir, tap tap.
Am I alone in that?
