This is now starting to look like something way bigger and more toxic than we ever wanted to imagine. Utter depravity dressed as 'intellect', scientific illiteracy dressed as supremacy.

Nope, it's a wee loch called Moss Roddock which is at the east end of Dalry as you head for Dumfries/ Moniave.
I was hoping to see the geese, but they weren't hanging around the loch that day. The Greylag nest quite nearby.

Yes and no. People who accumulate that much wealth at the expense of others are not safe people. You need to have a very special level of self-centeredness and ruthless greed to make that kind of money in a single human lifetime.
