@EllenInEdmonton That sounds interesting. I’ll have to give it a look. I’ve never read him before. I’m trying to expand my reading choices by picking up random books n various genres. I read too many Canadian women and I want to branch out a little and see how other people write.

Started reading A Hologram for the King a couple of days ago. I didn’t care for the curt writing at the beginning but kept with it and I’m glad I did. (Funny because my writing has a tendency towards short sentences as well. Never thought I’d see someone write even shorter sentences in such quantity but here it is.) Humorous, easy read with short chapters. Interesting construction with flashbacks and inner dialogue appearing out of, seemingly, nowhere which might annoy some readers but I like a bit of chaos in narratives. #books #bookstodon
