Of those, IRC is the only one still around.

@jik Stanford Research Systems still does this for most, if not all, of their lab equipment (although firmware source code is not included so if the processor or flash is dead you're out of luck unless you can get a replacement from them).

But for anything else, component level repair and troubleshooting is very doable.

@ShadowJonathan I have literally stopped watching youtube outright for a few days whenever their ads started getting through ublock and I couldn't find a way to bypass it in a couple of minutes.

I checked back a week later and it was back to normal. But I will absolutely stop using your service rather than be advertised to.
