We got 9 inches of snow from the storm. It took us awhile to clear off enough snow to get to the feeders. @drifthood This is a special feeder because: 1) It is blue and bluebirds seem to prefer blue feeders, 2) the distance between the slats is such that it is meant to allow bluebirds in and keep starlings out. In practice, it only works 50% of the time. I bought this feeder on Amazon, but it's not sold there anymore. However, if you go to Amazon and enter "bluebird feeders" in the search bar, you can find feeders that will work.

It is cold here (1F/-17C) and with the wind, it feels like -14F/-26C. Sunday, we are expecting a foot (30cm of snow) and the cold will persist for another week after that.
