#TechTip: If you have an Android Phone with Android 14 or later you probably have a pretty decent USB webcam on your hand. If you connect your phone via USB to a PC you get a popup on your phone and when you tap on it you can select "Webcam" and your phone will be available as a normal USB camera to your system. I confirmed it working on Windows and Linux and depending on the camera in your phone you get a very good picture.
