@aroundthehills @pixiepippi When our grandson was quite a bit smaller someone gaily let their two big dogs run right up to him. ‘Oh don’t worry, they won’t hurt you’ etc etc. They were taller than him FFS. This sort of thing happens all the time- do they never just stop and think???

@aroundthehills I dash for my binoculars or camera if I see something potentially interesting, or open the Merlin app. Whatever it was has invariably done a flit. It’s sooooo frustrating. If I do happen to get my binoculars in time, it is always a Wood Pigeon

@Walkaholic Sometimes you just have to admit defeat. I had a dream that seemed to be on repeat and last for ages. I was sorting junk in letter shapes. Someone would say, eg, H20 and I’d have to make a word with two H’s and an O. Or C02, a C and 2 O’s. Maybe I do too many puzzles too late at night ‍️

@thebaywindowgirl @Walkaholic Our orienteering club was blessed with very good chair people so the meetings, though often tedious, were at least efficient. I say ‘were’ because OH and I have very much stepped away from it all, but the club continues to thrive
