Anyone in #Tampere looking for a room to rent? Could be either an individual or a pair of people who like to sleep in the same room, the room is huge and the house is definitely big enough for an extra person. The room would be available at the end of March and we would really like to fill it seamlessly since we can't really afford the extra rent!

You would be moving in with three people, all of whom speak both English and Finnish fluently, and one cockatiel (neitokakadu), who speaks no human language, but communicates very clearly nonetheless. Our cockatiel is never caged and has free rein of the house, he is a rescue and cannot fly, so unfortunately we cannot have cats here!

Rent is 366+electricty (exactly 1/4 of the total) for a single person. For a couple I guess we would negotiate but like, 450 for the two people is probably fair?

The place has an amazing location if you move by bike - 15-20min by bike from Keskustori, 15-20min by bike from Hervantakeskus. The bus connections are unimpressive but serviceable. The house has a sauna, balcony, and small garden which we are building a greenhouse in.

We are all some kind of neurodivergent rainbow person, our house is full of half finished projects, but we try to keep it a bit together in the common spaces. We all make big batches of food and leave them for everyone to eat at least sometimes; there is no specific level of chores that is expected of everyone consistently, but a good-faith effort to do what one's health and schedule allow is appreciated.

We are between the ages of 24 and 34, none of us are fully employed but we are all fairly busy with activist and hobby commitments.
